More relics from the past are going up on ebay tonight! Go to www.charlesband.com to check them out! The most rare of all is the original oil painting from RE-ANIMATOR!!! We’re trying to put 5-7 items up per week…and there are some pretty cool things being auctioned off over the next few months!!! The artwork that has sold so far has actually gone for very little – considering that most of these pieces were commissioned at the time for anywhere from $1000 to $3000 per illustration! But it’s also great that people are getting some very unique art to hang on their walls!!! Have a great weekend!!!

Here’s what’s happening! Over the years I’ve put aside hundreds of pieces of art, props, puppets, dolls, wardrobe, etc from my 200+ film productions. As of tonight at 8:00PM PST the first 5 of these items will be put up for auction on ebay. You can go to Ebay Page for the listings. We’ll probably put 20-25 pieces up every month – at the rate of 5 or so per week. It may take 3-4 years to slowly go thru the entire collection! The bulk of what I’ve saved is the original art from my films. This art ranges from concept sketches to pre-sale art to the final pieces used for the posters and video/DVD boxes. Also there will be many puppets and dolls as well as some key props and wardrobe. I’ll continue to bring some items on the road when I do my road shows but there is so much material this really needed to be a year round thing! Hope you all are getting ready for a great holiday season!
