Wednesday, November 30, 2005Insane news!!! We’ve been re-organizing tons of boxes at our film storage facility and have found what appears to be at least 70 ORIGINAL PUPPETMASTER BOX SETS!!! As many of you know they were released for about a minute a few years ago and then the distributor had to pull them because of confusing rights issues…and since then they’ve been impossible to find. When they do turn up they go for $200-$400 and more on eBay! Anyway this is a very FAR-OUT discovery, a holiday present to all of us and we’re going to put them up tomorrow at exactly high noon PST at FullMoonDirect.com for the original sale price of $100.00!!! I’m also excited about the first rough ad for the MonsterBra line! I hope to have series one of the MonsterBra out by March!!! Next week we’re going to have 5 cool Full Moon shirts up on FullMoonDirect.com. These shirts were first available last month at the road show and now will be up on our site. The x5 shirts (men’s and women’s) feature original art from: PUPPETMASTER 3, SUBSPECIES, DOLL GRAVEYARD, DEMONIC TOYS and a very cool image of BLADE! We’re currently finishing both PETRIFIED & CUTTER’S CLUB. The next feature I shoot will be DEAD MAN’S HAND: about a haunted casino – it will be much more gritty and creepy than most of my recent features. I also hope to have Bill Mosley as one of it’s stars! On a completely different front – and again for those who weren’t able to attend the road show – I’ve invented a line of bizarre costume bra’s which will be available early next year. Even though they are primarily for next Halloween – “Series One” will be out I hope by March/April in time for Easter! The line is called MonsterBra and we are working on the packaging right now. We have 2 films in post-production: PETRIFIED and THE CUTTER’S CLUB (starring Tony Todd). PETRIFIED will be done first (it now has SO MANY awesome executive producers!) and should be out around March/April and I hope that CUTTER’S will be finished and released by May. I plan to direct 4-5 features in 2006 and the first one will be DEAD MAN’S HAND. (I have x17 victims to kill off from the winners of the road show!) We’ll also have a few “best of” type compilations (see art for ALIENS GONE WILD! available in February). In addition we will start releasing WILLIAM SHATNER’S FULL MOON FRIGHTNIGHT series that appeared on the SciFi Channel – probably x2 features at a time. The 5-6 “bits” that Shatner did for each movie are really funny plus we’ll have UNCUT full length interviews we did with people like STAN LEE, ROGER CORMAN, STUART GORDON, JEFFREY COMBS, BARBARA CRAMPTON, etc!!! As far as next years road show we’re doing x20 cities. All I can say is that it was really a thrill meeting so many great people and as exhausting as the x17 city trip was…I’ll be doing it again next year!!! Thank you to everyone who found the time to come to the show. I now know we’re doing something unique and entertaining as the E-Mails and blog comments have been so very positive. I also know what to do better next year: Decapitations in every city! More hot chicks! More contests! More merchandise! More MonsterBra’s and other demented inventions and just more on stage madness!!! I’ll also be going to new cities (ie San Fran, Vegas, Miami, Tampa, Atlanta) as well as returning to many of the cities from this first tour. I’ll have the 2006 dates and venues posted here soon! We shot hours of footage on the road from 3 of the shows and we’ll have a short film up on our sites within the next 2 weeks – plus a longer 20 minute cut of this event published on all of our upcoming DVD releases.
