Monday, January 30, 2006Dudes! Sorry it’s been such a long time since my last entry! So much is going on: We are working on post-production for PETRIFIED (the film with MANY executive producers!) - CUTTER’S CLUB starring Tony Todd – we’re in pre-production on our next feature, DEAD MAN’S HAND which will be GRUESOME AND REALLY SCARY! – I’m putting together the 2006 Full Moon Horror Road Show which will feature a SHOCKING (and dangerous!) live decapitation in every city! - along with tons of other surprises and cool special guests – I’m deep into the creation and launch of our new novelty line, FORBIDEN TOYS – its first release is The MonsterBra of which “Series One” will be here in May (check out MonsterBra.com) - I’ve teamed up with the beautiful and amazing Robin Sydney (THE GINGERDEAD MAN) for the Forbidden Toys novelty line and we have created some really AWESOME products coming out during the year! Full Moon Features will be attending about 15 conventions during 2006 – I’ll be there for 8-9 of them. The first one coming up will be the Texas Frightmare Weekend in Dallas this Saturday the 4th thru the 6th – I won’t be able to make it but our good friend Ray Honeycutt will be working the stand – we’ll have our first flyers for the 2006 Full Moon Horror Road Show at the convention this weekend along with a bunch of DVDs, T-Shirts, Toys, Signed 2005 Road Show Blades and a few surprises! I’m trying to bring in another import DVD Box Set that’s being released soon in Australia: it’s the DOLLMAN/DEMONIC TOYS Box Set which will have the following DVDs not available in this country: DOLLMAN, DEMONIC TOYS & DOLLMAN VS THE DEMONIC TOYS. The distributor is thinking about adding a 4th DVD as a “free” bonus feature – I’ll let you know as soon as we know. This set should be here within a few months. I hope all of you are doing well – I appreciate the MANY E-Mails we continue to get. The feature is VAMPIRE JOURNALS and we did a little “Mystery Science Theater 3000” on it! We produced x12 episodes of this series for The SciFi Channel and will now finally begin to release them during the year. William Shatner is really funny and he did some amazing interviews on set with: Stan Lee, Stuart Gordon, Roger Corman, Jeffrey Combs and many others! Even though the US release date for FRIGHT NIGHT is in April, we will have it about 30 days beforehand at fullmoondirect.com! On other fronts I look forward to our 2nd “live chat” this Friday at 3:30 PST! Computers are working and hopefully this time it’ll go smoothly. The puppet we are going to auction is a stunt JESTER from PUPPETMASTER 5. I look forward to spending time with you dudes online! I’m also happy that “series one” of the MonsterBra is finally in production! They’ll be here in early May and I’m going to invent something “far-out and awesome” for those who order the first x100! With a little luck (and a lot of energy!) there will be x6 new feature film releases, at least x12 action figures and 1:1 replicas, some crazy new novelty lines like MonsterBra and the BadAssDolls, appearances at 10 conventions and the 21 city Full Moon Horror road show!!! Last but not least, tomorrow at high noon the much anticipated SUBSPECIES BOX SETS will go up for sale! Between all the conventions this year and the road show I hope to see you all soon!!!
