We just spent the weekend at the Fangoria Convention here in LA – it was a lot of fun. Met so many people and signed a few hundred DVDs and posters from my films! It was really great seeing all of you who came by the booth and thanks for the good wishes on the new films! It was definitely weird signing posters/VHS tapes and laserdiscs for films I made in the 70’s and 80’s like Mansion Of The Doomed (starring a very young Lance Henriksen with Stan Winston doing Special FX and Andrew Davis as my DP!). Other older films that were brought by were: Laserblast, Crash, Prison (starring Viggo Mortenson), Parasite (Demi Moore!), Tourist Trap, Ghoulies, Metalstorm, Troll and so many others… The next convention will be San Diego Comic-Con! I also was in Vegas on Friday to see my son Alex perform with The Calling. They were at the Silverton – and sounded great. I am so proud of him and can’t wait to hear his first solo album.
I should have dates soon on my x20 city road show – I’m super excited about this event – it’ll be during the month of October with a big finish on Halloween night! I’m planning all sorts of craziness including screening rare film clips, surprise guest appearances, unique giveaways, drawings and the opportunity at every show to win a part in one of my horror films – and meet a gruesome death!!!
Thanks for all the good wishes and comments to my blog – we’ve had about 1000 visitors and it’s only been 8 days! I’ll try to answer as many of your questions as I can during the next week. Take care!!!

Hi Mr.Charles!I'm Wanda from Brazil.Me and my daughter Denise are huge fans of your wonderful son Alex!I think here there is an empty space to be filled with your movies! I would like to watch all of them, but in São Paulo is not easy to find them.Other thing:the original title of many movies are changed to strange things, for example "Coyote Ugly", where we can see and hear our idol Alex Band, had the original title changed to "Show Bar". I hope to watch all your movies here soon! Big Hug! Wanda Di Lallo.

Hi, just purchased a dvd of ''Mansion Of The Doomed'' at FYE last week. The quality is pretty bad. Is it a public domain title now? If so, I guess the chance of getting a good copy is pretty unlikely-what a shame. Phil Lindholm.
